She says of her work :
“Often it’s the abstract language of mark-making which intrigues me : the potency of minimal marks to communicate broader meaning coalesces with the affecting power of colour to offer an interpretation of the landscape. A clear narrative doesn’t always attach itself to my paintings – instead they’re intended as visual experiences which can be perceived at an emotional level.”
Bee has studied ceramics, is a qualified Garden Designer, has a BA in History of Art and is currently studying at the Newlyn School of Art. Bee’s work
is sold through The Elgin Gallery, Elgin and through The White Chalk Gallery in Devizes.
